Immature, me? Whatever gave you that idea?
Oct. 1st, 2002 11:38 amSo, in Developmental Psychology class we finally finished studying pregnancy/babies/children/teens, and started in on adults, which is coincidently the phase I am currently in. Apparently, adulthood is the time in life where you are expected to be responsible, actively participate in society, be sensitive to other people's needs... All that stuff that my mom's already told me a million times.
The part that got me giggling (which further proves the point, I guess) is the checklist of symptoms of immaturity. Here it is:
*Irritability - Check. Especially during PMS.
*Emotional outbursts due to disappointments and frustrations - Check. Double check, actually. Poor hubby.
*Constant search for excitement and happiness - Check. But what the heck's wrong with that??
*Use of fantasy to avoid facing problems - Smallville? Obsessive? Definitely check.
*Constant mood swings - Check. In fact, just looking at the moods posted here is enough to notice that.
So yay! I'm apparently immature. I didn't have to go to class to learn that!
