maristuAlthough I'm a die-hard Cook fan, I have to admit that Archuleta has an amazing voice. I still believe that Cook was the right choice, for his great voice and stage presence and arrangements and everything. But this video of Archie singing at church is just beautiful. He doesn't miss a single note. It's perfect. Seriously.
I used to play guitar in church when I was younger, and I remember there was this boy that sang with me sometimes. His voice was like that, crystal clear and perfectly on pitch, and it traveled so well he didn't need a microphone at all. You could tell he was putting his heart and soul into it, and it made me cry at times. Some voices seem to be made for God...
