I've just discovered that Mafalda was never translated to English... You guys have no idea what you're missing. Along with Calvin, she's my absolute favorite cartoon character :)

Hee! My personal favorite of the ones on the page would have to be the last one, about the soap opera writer's "struggle to escape the clutches of intelligence." :)

But, um, you don't want to get me started on Mafalda, really... I have *all* her comic strips. As soon as I manage to find Photoshop, I'll make an icon from this Felipe drawing (http://www.unesco.org/courier/2000_07/photoshr/73.htm) (although it would probably have to be an animated icon, because the text is so long... How do I make one of those?). I adore Felipe. He's so much like me, it's scary...

Apparently... I've seen it in French, German, Portuguese, Spanish (obviously), even Norwegian. But not in English. I can't understand it either...
