maristuOops. Hit the update button before I meant to... I could just go and edit the entry, but I don't like doing that, it confuses people. So here's the rest of the entry :)
The new place is shaping up well, it almost feels livable. Still full of dust from all the holes we're drilling, and we have tons of stuff that just don't have a place to go yet (we're still waiting for our new furniture to arrive). We got the fridge working, so that's a big plus *g*. I just *really* need someone to go there help me clean up, because the mess is driving me crazy (and I'm not exactly the most organized of people, but it's just too much).
We're thinking of moving in tomorrow... God help us :P

Hmm... The username meme. Mari Cats was an old nickname from High School. I used to hang out with a friend and this friend's friends didn't remember my name at first name (they eventually became great friends, and even a boyfriend) so they started calling me "Cats", because at the time I used to wear a sweater from the musical "Cats" (my mom gave it to me, ok?!). Later they just added my name to the nickname (the name's Mariana, Mari for short) and my nickname became Mari Cats. It's been ten years, and people I've never even heard of recognize me by that name...
So, the other day I'm doing a google search for "maricats", and get something around 200 hits! This is when I discovered that "maricat" is apparently some sort of boat *g*
Yeah. Boring. I know...

Hubby and I recorded Gilmore Girls last Thursday, and sat down to watch it today. It started off with Lorelai awaking to about a million alarm clocks, then going down to meet LUKE for breakfast! And then! Then! They *kissed*! And he talked to her stomach! And she was pregnant with TWINS!!
Hubby and I were gaping at the television wondering what exactly we had missed, when Lorelai finally woke up and we discovered that it was actually a rerun of this season's premiere. Apparently we'd missed the very beginning of the episode.
Getting my hopes up like that? Was just mean. *pout*
