So, what if you had a lot of free time on your hands, because you've just come out of exam week, so there's nothing to study, and you didn't have class two days in a row and you were alone at home with nothing to do? And you got this idea for a nice, short vid, with a pretty simple concept, that only uses clips from two or three episodes. So you finished a first draft in two sittings...

Is that, um, bad? Should I get help? :)

Anyway, the draft's here (right-click to download). I decided to put it up on the LJ instead of asking privately for beta, because I already have tresca and bonibaru beta'ing another vid, and I didn't want to bug them even more :) Comments and suggestions are much welcome and appreciated.

Yes, I'm obsessive. This is why I've decided to stop vidding for now. This is the last one. This and Lover Boy, and then I'll stop until late November. Honest.

Oh, and you'll notice that there's a clip from Tempest that's not working right (is blurred or something, I don't know why). I download the source from the 'net, and beggars can't be choosers :P I thought of just using some other scene, but I wanted that one so much... I'll see if I can download it from the 'net again.

As per the tempest clip that's blurry, my premiere does that to me all the time. It's a RAM issue.. mostly. Does the source do that when you watch it outside of premiere?

If it doesn't, I've found the best way to fix it is to make a quicktime file of just that clip and use that in your vid instead of the one from the source. For some reason (unbeknownst to techno-clueless me) it seems to work better.

P.S. Feel free to bug me with betas *any* time. Really. I love doing it :) I can't always claim to be knowledgable as to what should go where in terms of technical aspects, but I love a good story :)

They look so good together! Clark is just too cute... If he were looking at me like that, I would have melted. I was holding my breath all during the Tempest scenes... Damn that tornado! Damn Lana! And damn Chloe and her defense mechanisms! I didn't even know I was a Chlark shipper until I made this vid ;)

On the bright side, now I can put up a "Smooch Chloe Now!" icon next to my "Hug Lex Now!" icon on my webpage :)

It would have been one session, if I didn't have to sleep :) The whole plot was ready in my head, all I had to do was, well, put it on the computer and tinker around with the dissolves. And I've finally got a hang of Premiere.

Yeah, that happens to me too sometimes. Usually when I'm working with clips that were compressed with different codecs, or that have different aspect ratios. But in this case, it's the source that's bad :( But 'sok, bonibaru's clipping that scene out for me :)
