I love astrology. Don't know much about it, though... Just the basics, what the signs, planets and houses mean, that kind of stuff. There's still so much to learn, it's daunting...
I'm Cancer. So, saturn's been in Cancer roughly for the past 2 years. Let's see, just a quickie introduction: astrologers use a map of the sky at any given moment and divide it up in twelve parts, called houses. Each house has a meaning, the first being you as an individual, the second is finances, the third is communications, and so on. So when a planet is in your sign, it's considered to be in your first house (generically speaking, because in reality your first house depends on your rising sign, but that's complicating stuff a bit, so we'll skip it *g*). Like I said, that's the house of your identity. So the time when Saturn's in your sign is the time when you get lessons about yourself and your personality. Then it moves on to your second house, then to your third, and so on. He kind of teaches you lessons on the topic of the house he's on at the moment. So now that he's moved from my first house to my second house, I'll probably have to watch my finances more closely. But I prefer that to what I had these past 2 years...
That's about it. Heh, I don't know if that made *any* sense. It's a little bit complicated... And I didn't even mention retrograde phases, personal charts, that kind of stuff that us geeks like *g*

Oh, and Saturn's in Leo now. What sign are you?
