I'm back, after three days offline... And *finally* managed to catch up on my friends page :) Hope everyone had a terrific Christmas!

This was my first Christmas with my full family after 4 years of living in another city, so it was kind of... loud and noisy and way too crowded, but fun! I'd forgotten how much fun it can be to put the entire family in the same apartment :)

One interesting thing I noticed this year (probably because I'd spent the last 4 Christmases away) is that my mom's family has the tendency of splitting up into girls and boys... All the women seem to gather around the dinner table, and talk loudly to each other about all manners of things, while the men sit quietly in a corner and chat about... whatever it is they chat about. It's weird. My dad's family is different, everyone sits together and are loud and noisy as a family. I don't know which style I like best... Both work well in their own way.

Anyway, this year I finally managed to give people gifts that they actually liked! Yay! I always suck at this... This year hubby went with me Christmas shopping and helped me out :) So yay! Everyone was happy :)

Including me! Hubby gave me a new guitar for Christmas! My old one fell down and broke the arm, and although I managed to fix it, it was never the same... The new one is just beautiful! And the sound is so clear! I've named it Joey (the old one was Richard). I am *so* in love with it *g*
